Purpose: electric rock resistivity with two different depths of penetration

Characteristics: focused currents are induced into the borehole wall and the resulting voltage and current are measured with respect to a reference electrode at the surface, differently focussed electrodes record deep & shallow penetration depth; Rdeep, Rshallow [Ohmm], GR [gAPI]; depth of penetration: deep: 0.5-2, shallow: 0.3-0.7, depends on formation resistivity
