BS-ICDP (Logging tool)

Model id: Borehole Sonic, Antares, SN: 1314001

Measurements:

  • full waveform data (sonic probe)
  • seismic velocity, p wave
  • total natural gamma

Purpose: sonic velocity of the rock, full waveforms from each of the two receivers, after processing Vp and maybe Vs

Characteristics: one transmitter emitts sonic pulses which travel along the borehole wall and are recorded by two 0.5m spaced receivers, the seismic velocity is calculated from the travel time difference between R1 + R2; full waveforms, Vp (and maybe Vs) [m/s], GR [gAPI]
